An enthusiastic “thank you” to all who made the Easter Service a spirited Celebration: Mark and the Choir, our trumpet player Joe Porcella, our baker-in-residence Richard, all who brought flowering plants, the children who brought them forward and helped to arrange them as a tribute to the Risen Lord, and to all who attended worship and voiced in litanies, prayers and hymns the message of Easter.

We thank also the men who later moved the furniture out of the sanctuary in preparation for the concert this Saturday afternoon.

Maybe you better save the date: May 21
If preacher Harold Camping is right, that’s the exact date Jesus will return and the righteous will fly up to heaven, leaving behind only their clothes. That will be followed by five months of fire, brimstone and plagues, with millions of people dying each day. Finally, on Oct. 21 the world ends.
