Church Looks to the Future”
Workshops cover: being a young adult in church today; hearing the stories of recent immigrants; reaching out to seniors; organizing community donor gardens; prudent investing for churches and others. The afternoon will feature an all-presbytery choir and liturgical dance team. See Pastor Tom for more information. Cost is $12.
Sunday, Sept 30 6:30pm Pot Luck Supper
On Friday evening, October 12, at 5:00pm, Pastor Tom will be one of three alums from Union Theological Seminary, NYC to receive the Seminary’s Unitas Award. This awards honors particular alums for their contribution in academia, in pastoral ministry, or in community service and action ministry. More information will be forthcoming. There is no charge to attend the ceremony. There is a $75 charge for those attending the celebration banquet following. The event takes place at the Seminary, Broadway and 120th, Manhattan.
