NEWS
Today we remember the horrific experience we all went through 21 years ago and tonight at 7:00pm there will be 9-11 Remembrance Service down at Bellport dock. The Brookhaven Clergy Group will be providing worship.
Church School/Sunday School (for 11 year olds and younger) begins on Sunday, September 25th and the older youth (Youth Group) on October 9th. We will celebrate with a church picnic on the 25th following worship.
Contact List Help… as you know we're again collecting the names of those who worship in person. We need someone to monitor those sign-in sheets making sure all attendees sign in. If you're available and would like to help out please let Pastor Glorya know. Thank you…..
The Choir will be starting soon. If you'd like to join please let Sandy Asselta know. Rehearsals are following the Services of Worship.
There is a space for one more on the Deacons. The Deacons would love to have one more sets of hands to join the Deacons who've already been installed to that office and the person who has indicated interest in serving as well.. If you're interested please tell Pastor Glorya and she will pass it along to the Nominating Committee so we can get these two people elected and installed.
The October 1st program is right around the corner. The Brookhaven Clergy Group will be sponsoring a day with Anne Lamott's book "Help, Thanks, Wow" at Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church. Registration/Breakfast will be at 9:30 a.m. ending with bring your own lunch at 1:00 p.m. The schedule and a sign-up sheet have been posted on the bulletin board and several people have signed up. Jeanne Baum has free books if you're interested.
