    Joy Skjegstad is the author of the books Seven Creative Models for Community Ministry, Starting a Non-Profit at Your Church, and Winning Grants to Strengthen Your Ministry, is a national speaker and consultant on nonprofit management and ministry development.  She has over 30 years of experience starting and growing and church-based community ministry programs.  
    The four sessions will look at how churches can bless the community with their buildings and the importance of asset-based thinking; assessing the space in your own building;  choosing  Community partners/building collaborations, and asset-mapping exercises.  The day includes breakfast and lunch.
