                                                            “ A Mighty Fortress Is Our God”

                                                             Lessons: Psalm 46   John 14: 1-14

                         Martin Luther is known as the great Protestant theologian. 

                         He was also a great hymn writer. That will be the focus in

                         this morning’s sermon.

                            Whenever a poll is taken of favorite hymns this one is

                            either in top position or very close to it. Is there a bagpiper

                            who doesn’t know it by heart?

A memorial service for George Stoney will be held on August 6 at 6pm at the Abron’s Arts Center Playhouse Theatre, located at Henry Street Settlement, 466 Grand Street (at the corner of Pitt Street), Manhattan Lower East Side.
