Hello to all Holy Envy readers:

After church on Sunday we will continue the discussion of Holy Envy by Barbara Brown Taylor.  We'll start after a bit of visiting and a cup of coffee, and discuss outside if the weather holds.  If it does not, we'll space ourselves throughout the sanctuary and wear masks.

If you've missed the info about the book, it is this Fall's OSHC book read, and the plan is to discuss a few chapters each week after church on Sundays.  It is, of course, available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble, both electronically and in actual book form.  But it is also available in hardback at Daedalus books for $8, which is a great price.  I've distributed the first batch but if there is further interest I can order some more.  If you haven't had a chance to think about it or haven't started it yet, join us on Sunday and see what you think.   I've been busy (new grandbaby -  Christopher Alan Corral!). and haven't quite finished the 3rd chapter, but this is what I think:  thought-provoking, easy reading, lovely style, spiritually enriching.  I hope you'll join us.
