Position Description/Information

Duties include: preparing and playing for one weekly worship service (Sunday 10:00 a.m.); weekly adult choir practices except during July and August (the number of regular weekly practices is only about 35 due to scheduling conflicts, inclement weather and taking off July and August; choir practice is usually scheduled right after Sunday service; short practices may also occur immediately before service); playing for special services annually such as a Thanksgiving or Lenten service.  Music is generally traditional.  Previous experience in playing hymns for congregational singing is desirable, but not mandatory.       Salary commensurate with ability and experience.

                              practice and music selection plus 1.5 hours per
                              week for choir practice (about 35 regular 
                              weekly practices annually).

Compensation Information

Salary: Commensurate with experience and ability, starting at
             either $ 100. per service for organ students or applicants
             with no previous experience, plus $20. per choir practice
             or, starting at an annual salary of $6048 (paid  $252
             semi-monthly) for students with no previous experience       

 Paid Vacation/ Paid Sick Time Sundays: 4 annually                            
                                                                 (after 6 months of service)

Compensation Negotiable
