A “thank you” to Peggy Angus and Richard Thomas for seeing that our piano and organ were ready for last Saturday’s “Opera, Organ and More..” and to John Deitz and Richard Thomas in working after the recital to replace furniture and be ready for last Sunday’s Worship Service.

A prospective groom was conferring with his pastor about the wedding. He related that the father-in-law to be had asked him, “Young man, can you support a family?” The groom-to-be answered, “Well, no, I was just planning to support your daughter. The rest of you will have to fend for yourselves.”
