NEWS
This Sunday we will be celebrating the Lord's Supper served by Elders. It will be my first time since beginning our ministry together with Rev Johnson and the COVID pandemic that we will celebrate the sacrament using the Common Order. There will also be prefilled containers in the usual place if you feel you wish to celebrate with them.
Next Sunday at 7:00pm there will be 9/11 Remembrance Service at the Bellport dock.
Church School/Sunday School will begin on Sunday, September 25th. We will celebrate with a church picnic that day following worship.
Contact List Help… as you know we're again collecting the names of those who worship in person. We need someone to monitor those sign-in sheets making sure all attendees sign in. If you're available and would like to help out please let Pastor Glorya know. Thank you…..
The Choir will be starting soon. If you'd like to join please let Sandy Asselta know. Rehearsals are following the Services of Worship.
There are two vacancies that remain on the Deacons. The Deacons would love to have two more sets of hands. If you're interested please tell Pastor Glorya and she will pass it along to the Nominating Committee.
Start thinking about October 1st—Brookhaven Clergy will be sponsoring a day with Anne Lamott's "Help, Thanks, Wow" at Mary Immaculate Roman Catholic Church with Registration/Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. ending with lunch at 1:00 p.m. The schedule and a sign-up sheet have been posted on the bulletin board.
