Dear Members and Friends of Old South Haven Church,
Please join us this coming Sunday on Zoom for a Reformation Sunday Church Service. The details for joining are below. The Sunday Service bulletin is attached, as well as a bulletin insert on Huldrych Zwingli, one of the leaders of the Reformation movement in Switzerland. His legacy lives on in the confessions, liturgy, and church orders of the Reformed churches of today.
Please also note the Thank You letter from Pastor Glorya, John Deitz, and Richard Thomas about the state of Old South Haven Church's finance.
Peace be with you All,
Linda

Dear Sisters and Brothers,
On behalf of your Session and the Financial Officers, thank you, thank you, thank you.
During this time of uncertainty with the coronavirus many individuals and businesses are experiencing financial difficulties. While they may be making it through by the squeak of their shoes financially, your church is financially stable and this is thanks to you.
Saturday, October 17th, the Property/Finance Committee met. We were informed by the officers that all bills are currently up to date and the church is financially stable. This is true not only for the month of September but income has been sufficient and stable since the beginning of the virus chaos.
This is very positive news for a congregation the size of Old South Haven. Many churches are having financial difficulties during this time. We are not! While we always like to say God provides, it's really a matter of how we take and use those provisions we receive from God. Your Session has been very conscientious when discussing the church's financial needs. And, of course, the fact is that since the church is not open at the present time for worship means utilities have been used sparingly.
So once again thank you for being so faithful in your anticipated giving to the church.
********** The church will be open again this Sunday, 4-5 pm for silent meditation and prayer. COVID safety standards will be maintained. ********** ********** We have been invited by Ellen Clyne and the Brookhaven Village Association to the following presentation
