Plumb Line Study---
The members of Session and the Plumb Line team wish to thank all those who took time to carefully read the report and make suggestions for its improvement. At its regularly scheduled meeting the Session incorporated some of those suggestions into the report. The revised report has now been submitted to the Committee on Ministry of the Presbytery of Long Island for review at its July 9th meeting. Representatives of the Session and the Plumb Line Team will be attending that meeting to answer questions from the Committee.

Other Session Items—
At the June 17th meeting the Session appointed John Deitz as Financial Secretary and Linda Majowka as Assistant Financial Secretary.                                         Remember to Invite a Friend and join us for an afternoon of music tomorrow
Gifts of the Spirit—
A long-standing Pentecost custom in many churches is the wearing of red to worship. But the gift of the Spirit in our lives is about so much more than the fiery moment recorded in the book of Acts. As Paul reminds the Corinthian community -- "Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of services, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who activates all of them in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good." So I invite you this Sunday to bring something that symbolizes your gift of the Spirit. Something that speaks to how you through that gift build up the common good. Oh, and go ahead and wear red too.

Pentecost Offering—Sunday "When we give, young adults engage in a year of service while discerning how best to love God and neighbor, through the Young
Adult Volunteer program. When we give, our congregation joins with others in shaping the education provided as public schools, through the 'Educate a Child, Transform
the World,' national initiative. As Presbyterians we believe that every child deserves access to high-quality education. When we give, more than 5,000 youth gather at
the Presbyterian Youth Triennium to worship, learn, and serve together.
